New Products from Tarte - Sidney
Tarte had recently come out with a new festival line, and I was able to get my hands on 2 of the products from this line. The first I want to talk about is the Make Believe in Yourself Eye and Cheek Palette. I was able to snag this beauty while it was on sale for $30. I had my eye of the majestic palette since it came out, I am so glad I got it. The colors are as beautiful as they look to be. Out of the entire palette the only colors I will not be using is dream and mystic. This is because they are shades of blue and I am allergic to blue. I was pleasantly surprised with just how smooth the full on glitter shadows, they are a little chunky, but I find them to be perfect packed on the lid or even lightly dusted on the lid for a more subtle look. The middle shade is a beautiful white Highlighter with gold flakes. It reminds me a lot of Anastasia Beverly Hills Marshmallow Highlighter. I do find that this palette wouldn't be as useful for darker women. The last product that I got from this collection is the Make Believe in Yourself Quick Dry Matte Lip Paint in the shade Festival. I find this shade to be a lot more purple than it looks online and in the tube. I love pairing this lip shade with the colors myth and crystal from the eye and cheek palette, it is a very mauve look. Out of the 2 products that I got from this festival themed collection, I give them a 4/5 rating. Sadly I do not think the eye and cheek palette would suit darker women (or men).
